The palengke is a meeting place as well as a place to buy food. This proposed photo essay will follow a market from its first deliveries into the morning rush.
Rather than inventing a composite scene, the final story will name the market and introduce willing participants. Short captions will explain what is happening, who is pictured, and when the photographs were made.
