And the ‘e’ connotes being environment-friendly and ecologically sustainable.

At the recently-concluded PITS 2026/ Philippine International Truck Show held at the SMX Convention Center, this also reinforces IPC/Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s commitment to come up with automotive products ready to meet the emerging trend towards cleaner, greener commercial vehicles. And this includes EV-trucks.

A commitment that equally lives up to maintaining its leadership position in the Philippine market. For 26 consecutive years Isuzu has become the No. 1 brand in the truck and commercial vehicles sectors in the country, capturing an impressive 42 percent market share in the first seven months of 2026 alone. IPC’s success has been attributed to its reliable products powered by new-generation diesel engines, a consistent demand for its light- and mid-sized trucks, and very strong after-sales support.

IPC’s best-sellers that were on display at PITS 2026 included its TRAVIZ light commercial vehicle that comes available in drop side truck, utility van, aluminum van and refrigerated van models; and its N-series line-up, a favourite of entrepreneurs, distribution and logistics providers. Both the TRAVIZ and N-series are powered with Isuzu’s Blue Power Euro IV diesel engines that are both fuel efficient and cost friendly.

Equally highlighting this year’s display was its new N-series EV concept truck.

At first glance, it resembles its diesel sibling. Yet the main difference comes in its powerplant: a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 100 kWh, offering a driving range of 299 kilometers!

Complementing the N-series EV concept truck are its e-friendly features, namely zero emissions, that contribute to increasingly stringent urban emissions standards; fewer moving parts, that cut down on maintenance costs; and DC fast-charging capabilities, thanks to its CCS2 charging port. Convenience and safety amenities are also standard, such as multi-function steering wheel, central locking and anti-lock brakes.

While IPC reps have not revealed when this concept vehicle will enter local production, this new take on the N-series represents the esteemed Japanese brand’s readiness to explore future sustainable innovations in technology and mobility, flexible to meet even the most discerning needs and requirements of its customers—and that contribute to clean, green, cost-friendly transport that are becoming competitive in the long run.
